Posted Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 4:00 AM TOGETHER, WE SAVE LIVES OVERVIEW Responsible for territory penetration, sales & business development, and servicing of Safariland law enforcement equipment to law enforcement agency end users and regional distributors within North Florida and Southeast Georgia. Law enforcement or military industry experience preferred. Candidates with leadership or equipment evaluation experience (e.g., Patrol, SWAT) are ideal for these roles as a second career. The successful candidate must quickly learn to navigate agency sales cycles to uncover, develop, and close law enforcement opportunities involving products like body armor, ballistic helmets, tactical gear, communications, and holsters. Candidates must reside within North Florida or Southeast Georgia. RESPONSIBILITIES Achieve territory revenue goals and manage sales pipeline Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate key agency customers Train distributor personnel to facilitate sales and service of Safariland products to agencies Partner with distributors to identify, pursue, and close law enforcement opportunities Collaborate with internal teams (Business Units, Pricing, Sales Operations, Customer Service, Technical, Marketing) to ensure project success Conduct agency discovery meetings, deliver sales presentations, and demonstrate products to end-users Manage travel expenses within budget Follow Safariland's Code of Conduct Oversee test and evaluation samples Attend industry trade shows to generate new business and foster relationships Report to Southeast Region Sales Director QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 2 years sales or law enforcement industry experience Bachelor's Degree preferred Law enforcement or training background preferred Up to 60% overnight travel required Excellent communication skills Strong financial and analytical skills Ability to train and motivate teams Effective at working across organizational levels Knowledge of distributor networks and bid processes Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM applications Strong organizational, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Candidates must reside in North Florida area; applications outside this region will not be considered Why work at Safariland?
