Ticketing Manager

Live Nation Concerts is seeking a qualified Ticketing Manager to manage ticket operations for its marquee promoted shows in third-party venues. This detail-oriented position requires excellent organizational skills, strong problem-solving skills, and an ability to work efficiently, accurately, and effectively under pressure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing processes, a robust understanding of multiple ticketing systems, strong customer service skills, and a track record of fostering strong working relationships with artist management, senior executives, partners, and clients at all levels of an organization. Event Management: Direct and support ticketing providers and tour partners on all operational aspects related to ticketing for Live Nation's largest touring clients. Build events using the Ticketmaster platform and oversee non-Ticketmaster builds. Communicate and oversee the setup of all required tour offers, inventory requests, tour production and other ticketing information for show build to the venue box offices. Provide support and guidance to artist clients and tour personnel. Monitor and maintain event inventory including holds, releases, flex pricing, rescaling and dynamic pricing for assigned tours. Provide ongoing reporting to touring team, Live Nation executives, and tour personnel. Communicate regularly with promoters, Ticketmaster staff, Live Nation Ticketing staff, vendors, customers and affiliated parties. Oversee and process ticket requests. Collect and analyze inventory data across multiple ticketing platforms. QA events to ensure accurate and consistent event information and set-up. Adhere to Live Nation ticketing initiatives, programs, policies and procedures. On-site support at local events in the Los Angeles/surrounding areas. Balance and report on event financials. Train and manage part time staff. All other duties as assigned. What This Person Will Bring: 2-3 years experience as a box office manager or ticketing representative. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or comparable work experience. Strong knowledge of Box Office or similar operations. Knowledge of ticketing provider software a plus. Experience collaborating with production, marketing, booking and accounting a plus. Excellent oral and written communication. Ability to work day, evening and weekend hours, based on the needs of daily business operations. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to provide leadership, prioritize, organize, motivate, problem solve, delegate, follow-up, and communicate. Must be able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
