Medical Director, Liver Transplant Program
Join the dynamic and growing Emory Healthcare system (EHC) with more than 21,000 employees and 11 hospitals. Emory Healthcare is the most comprehensive academic health system in Georgia. System-wide, it has 2,673 licensed patient beds, 2,800 physicians practicing in more than 70 specialties and serves metro Atlanta with 250 locations.
Qualified applicants are board certified/board eligible in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology and possess outstanding clinical, technical and interpersonal skills and training from top-rated institutions. Position serves as Medical Director for the Liver Transplant program and oversees the transplant hepatology program. Qualified applications will also meet requirements for the OPTN Primary Physician.
Preferred Qualifications:
Qualified applicants are board certified/board eligible in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology and possess outstanding clinical, technical and interpersonal skills and training from top-rated institutions. Physicians with Emory Healthcare enjoy competitive salaries and excellent benefits packages. Track and rank will be commensurate with experience.
NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
