Senior Data Modeller role at Capgemini. Responsibilities
Minimum of 15+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in the investment products domain, specifically with extensive exposure to Hedge Funds, Equities, Swaps, and Derivatives. Data modeling: design and implement complex data models for financial instruments and investment portfolios, including relational databases (SQL, Cloudera, Oracle), NoSQL databases, and data warehousing concepts. Technical acumen: strong understanding of software development principles, system architecture, and data integration patterns. Analytical skills: exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities with a keen eye for detail. Communication and collaboration: excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams with business users, developers, and other stakeholders. Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related quantitative field. Masters degree or CFA designation is a strong plus. Preferred qualifications: Experience with financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv, BlackRock Aladdin); familiarity with industry standards (e.g., FIX, FpML); experience with cloud platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies; prior experience in FinTech, Investment Bank, or software product company.
