RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX seeking an IT Services Administrator - Migration.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, author, and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation workflows to support efficient OS imaging, patching, and software deployment processes Create and maintain software packages, dynamic task sequences, and operating system images for deployment through MECM/SCCM and Microsoft Intune Lead or support large-scale Windows 11 upgrade and migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to end users Package, test, and deploy enterprise applications using modern deployment practices and version control Monitor deployment success, log errors, and perform root cause analysis for failed installations or imaging tasks Collaborate with security, networking, and help desk teams to ensure consistent endpoint configurations and compliance Maintain thorough documentation of deployment standards, task sequences, and troubleshooting procedures Stay current with evolving Microsoft tools and technologies and recommend improvements to optimize deployment and imaging strategies
REQUIREMENTS:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration, endpoint management, or desktop engineering Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell for automation of deployment and management tasks Extensive experience with MECM/SCCM, Microsoft Intune, and related endpoint management tools Strong knowledge of OS imaging, task sequences, and application packaging/deployment in an enterprise environment Hands-on experience with Windows 11 upgrades and migrations, including hardware compatibility and rollout planning Familiarity with patch management, compliance baselines, and reporting
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
