Account Development Manager , you will grow new sales through assigned Pittsburgh Paints Company stores, focusing on expanding existing business year-over-year and developing new accounts within the commercial segment.
You will report to the Regional Manager and work onsite based in the Bridgeport, CT market.
Key Responsibilities Ensure outstanding customer service to existing accounts by staying updated on current promotions, new products, and customer service practices to identify growth opportunities. Develop account planning strategies, identify sales opportunities, and understand the segments served by existing business. Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to manage accounts, maintain call logs, contact information, and generate reports. Collaborate with store managers and employees to meet or exceed customer needs. Provide accurate customer quotes to meet margin targets in line with pricing strategies. Qualifications High school diploma required; 3+ years of sales experience with excellent customer service skills; higher education in a business-related field preferred. Experience with CRM software preferred; coatings industry experience highly valued. Must be willing to travel daily within the assigned territory and possess a valid driver's license.
