Patient Care Tech - PCT - Heme Malignancy & Bone Marrow Transplant Unit
Full time – Night Shift – 36 hours
As a
Patient Care Tech
on the
Adult Oncology Intensive care unit
at Johns Hopkins Hospital Weinberg, you will care for patients with hematological malignancies who are receiving bone marrow transplants, critically ill oncology patients, and patients with solid tumor diagnosis. Our hematologic malignancy and hematology patients have access to some of the most innovative and advanced therapies in the world. Because Kimmel Cancer Center research scientists and clinicians closely work together, new drugs and treatments developed in the research laboratory are quickly transferred to the clinical setting, offering patients improved therapeutic options and the chance to participate in innovative clinical trials. Patient Care Technicians at The Johns Hopkins Hospital are an integral part of this highly skilled health care team.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required. 1 year of acute care (hospital) tech experience within the most recent 2 years is required (EMT or CRT experience may be considered) BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.

Salary Range: Minimum 18.41/hour - Maximum 27.70/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
