Showing 1 location We are seeking a dedicated STORE ASSOCIATE to deliver excellent customer service and meet sales goals at our thrift stores. This is a part-time role with an hourly wage of $16.00. GENERAL STATEMENT:

High School diploma or equivalent Retail or thrift store experience preferred but not required Knowledge of cash handling and cashier procedures is advantageous Willingness to learn new skills and procedures SCOPE OF POSITION:
Reporting to the Store Manager or Supervisor, your responsibilities may include receiving donations, sorting, hanging clothes, pricing, stocking shelves, creating displays, operating cash registers, handling money accurately, processing credit card transactions, and assisting customers with purchases. Effective communication and maintaining a clean, organized store environment are essential. Adherence to uniform, cell phone, break, and smoking policies is required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Team-oriented with cooperative attitude Self-motivated and problem-solving skills Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written Effective time management skills Courteous and respectful interaction with the public Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of cash control and cashier procedures, including credit card sales Understanding of safe and efficient store operations Confidentiality and discretion Ability to produce written documentation such as receipts and reports Willingness to comply with Protecting the Mission guidelines and pass a TSA background check All other duties assigned by the Store Manager or Supervisor must also be performed. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist Prolonged standing on hard floors Repetitive grasping, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead Repetitive lifting of 35-50 lbs Qualified candidates must be able to perform these duties with or without accommodations. Requests for modifications will be considered to meet physical requirements without undue hardship.
