Overview
Adult Hospitalist, Medical Director role at Bristol Hospital and Health Care Group, Inc. This is a full-time, dual-role position that combines clinical responsibilities with administrative leadership to impact patient care and the strategic direction of our hospitalist program. The Hospitalist service provides 24/7/365 inpatient hospital coverage for all patients admitted to the medical and surgical floors. Responsibilities
Provide clinical coverage as part of the Hospitalist service (inpatient medical and surgical floors). Assume administrative leadership responsibilities as Medical Director, shaping program strategy and operations. Collaborate with the Department of In-patient Medicine and Bristol Health Medical Group to ensure high-quality patient care and service delivery. Engage in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and multidisciplinary team collaboration. Support accreditation, compliance, and credentialing activities in partnership with Bristol Hospital Medical Staff. Qualifications
Current licensure in the State of Connecticut and DEA registration. Board certified or eligible in internal medicine or family medicine. Current ACLS certification. Membership in and maintenance of appropriate privileges at Bristol Hospital Medical Staff. Strong communication, leadership, and compassionate patient care mindset. Employment Type & Compensation
