About Dexcom's Summer Intern Program: Looking to spend your summer working with innovative technology and changing the lives of patients with diabetes? Dexcom's U.S. 12-week internship program provides an experience driven program aimed at developing the next generation of talent. Our onsite, hybrid, and remote work models ensure that we can invite diverse and talented intern classes from across the country. Interns will have the chance to gain knowledge and develop their skills while contributing to key company projects and initiatives. Department Name: R&D Process Engineering Business Function: R&D & Data You'll join a focused Process Engineering Team in the R&D department, working hands-on in a manufacturing lab to help develop next-generation technologies. You'll support engineers by running tests, analyzing data, and contributing to design decisions. You'll also create tools using CAD and fabrication techniquesmaking a real impact from day one. Where you come in: You assist engineers by performing manufacturing and test procedures, collecting data, executing protocols, conducting basic data analysis, and contributing to lab reports. You create basic fixtures or tools using CAD software and standard fabrication techniques. You perform data analysis to support product and process design decisions. You will help drive innovation in next-generation manufacturing processes. You will work closely with a team of about 12 engineers, conducting hands-on experiments in a manufacturing lab environment. What makes you successful: You bring a positive, can-do attitude and confidently take on urgent projects and tasks. You are a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset. You communicate effectivelyboth verbally and in writing. You have experience with CAD software, design of experiments (DOE), and process characterization. You come from a mechanical engineering background (primary), with bioengineering as a secondary strength. You have worked in mechanical labs or similar hands-on environments, giving you practical, real-world experience. Must be a currently enrolled student at an accredited college or university in a STEM discipline with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or later. Non-Exempt Salary Details: The annualized base salary range for this role is $27.00 to $29.00. Annualized values for non-exempt (hourly) positions are estimates, final annualized salary will depend on total hours worked.
