Atlas are representing a well-established, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Richmond, VA, seeking a Medical Director to lead their team. This full-service hospital has an excellent reputation in the community for providing outstanding veterinary care in a collaborative, supportive environment. The practice is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, and laser surgery instruments, enabling the team to deliver advanced diagnostics and treatments. The caseload is varied, covering dogs, cats, pocket pets, exotics, and the occasional avian patient. The team is experienced, compassionate, and highly collaborative, creating a workplace where both seasoned clinicians and newer graduates can thrive. Lead and mentor the veterinary team to ensure high-quality patient care and service delivery. Guide the hospital in developing and upholding medical standards and best practices. DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US. Current or eligible Virginia veterinary licensure. Commitment to high-quality medicine and AAHA standards. Strong communication skills and a client-centered approach. Experience or interest in mentoring other veterinarians and support staff.
