KBRs National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the countrys most critical role protecting our national security. KBR is seeking a highly motivated Systems Administrator to join us in supporting our Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) development team in Colorado Springs, CO. Responsibilities
Manage cloud-based information systems, ensuring availability, performance, scalability, and security Harden information systems against NIST, DoD, and IC security requirements to include the NIST 800-53 and 800-171 controls, and DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides STIGs and Security Requirements Guides SRGs Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively Collaborate with development teams to deploy applications and ensure they meet scalability, reliability, and security requirements Manage and automate routine administrative tasks, ensuring efficiency and accuracy Stay up-to-date with and implement the latest industry technologies, trends, and best practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of new and existing systems and applications Lead or attend meetings with system stakeholders to discuss statuses of efforts Work Environment

Required:
Security Clearance: Must have an active U.S. government Top Secret/SCI security clearance, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain Education: Bachelors Degree in computer, information systems or related field DoD 8570-compliant IAT Level II certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+) Experience with cloud service providers CSPs (e.g. AWS, Azure) Git/GitLab experience Experience with programming (scripting) languages i.e. Bash, Python, .Net or Java Apache open-source products i.e. NiFi, Kafka, Zookeeper Security+ Experience with Virtual Machines and Type 1 hypervisors, e.g. KVM, ESXi Demonstrated experience with Linux e.g. Red Hat Enterprise Linux Experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, Puppet, and Ansible Experience in implementing DISA STIGs and SRGs Excellent oral and written communication skills Desired:

$94,800 - $142,100 (For the Colorado Springs Area Only) The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity. Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
