SAP Platform Technology Program & Project Manager Specialist
to join our Leading Automotive Client's SAP Platform Technology team. This role is pivotal in managing the financial planning, analysis, and strategic investment tracking for SAP-related initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure our technology investments are aligned with business goals and deliver measurable value. Hybrid - long term contract role in Dearborn, MI Candidates outside MI must relocate upon offer Key Responsibilities
Budgeting & Forecasting
Develop, manage, and track the SAP Platforms annual
Capital Expenditures (CapEx)
and
Operating Expenditures (OpEx) . Partner with SAP leadership to forecast future costs and evaluate funding needs. Conduct monthly variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
Prepare and deliver financial reports and dashboards for SAP Platform and Finance leadership. Analyze spend patterns, performance metrics, and trends to support decision-making.
Strategic Planning & Investment Support
Support business case development for major enterprise technology investments. Assist in prioritizing digital transformation projects based on strategic alignment and ROI. Monitor financial terms of contracts and supplier invoices. Collaborate with Supply Chain on contract negotiations and renewals. Track cloud and software license usage to prevent overages or underutilization.
Compliance & Controls
Ensure financial practices comply with internal policies and external regulations. Support audits and financial reviews of SAP Platform projects and spending.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a liaison between Finance, SAP Platform, Supply Chain, and Product Teams. Translate complex expenditures into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
Required Skills
Strong financial reporting and analysis capabilities Expertise in program and project management Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience : 6+ years in IT, 3+ years in Program Management Seniority level
