Position Overview
Drives revenue by providing clients exceptional services through relationship building, sharing style/product information, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment. Consistently achieves individual goals that support store goals. Primary Responsibilities Embraces company values and leads by example Ensure compliance with ANN INC. practices and procedures Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager, Co-Manager, and Sales Leads
Revenue Generation
Consistently meets or exceeds divisional, store, and individual financial and credit goals while contributing to store goals
Client Experience
Provides excellent client service by anticipating needs, exceeding expectations, and adhering to ANN INC. service standards Builds client relationships, creates loyalty, and can multitask while servicing internal and external clients Addresses client concerns and collaborates with management when needed Maintains a gracious, friendly, energetic, engaging, respectful, and professional demeanor Seeks feedback for professional growth and development; strives for positive client feedback Communicates effectively with store management, teammates, and clients via in-person, written, and phone interactions Works collaboratively, respects differences, and leads by example to foster a positive team environment Complies with all company policies, practices, procedures, and applicable laws
Operations
Completes opening/closing procedures with a client-focused approach (merchandise replenishment, store styling rooms, shipments, cleaning, merchandising moves, pricing changes) Maintains organized work areas and adheres to loss prevention practices Maintains a safe work environment and reports hazards Participates in store inventory preparation and timekeeping; flexible to business needs Follows operational guidelines and processes
Technical Expertise
Demonstrates ability to learn ANN INC. computer systems Performs register transactions efficiently Uses DOMs and StyleFinder to locate products and process transactions accurately Operates phone with proper greeting and handles calls as needed Operates PDT and related systems
Product/Brand Management
Articulates brand positioning, marketing initiatives, promotions, and lifestyle concepts Represents the brand by adhering to dress code guidelines Participates in store meetings and uses education tools to build product knowledge Keeps up with fashion trends and applies ANN INC. interpretations in client interactions Packages and wraps purchases per company standards
Position Requirements
Client service orientation and ability to build a loyal client base Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with minimal supervision Knowledge of visual merchandising standards and execution Effective communication with clients, management, partners, and associates Accuracy handling cash and making change Flexible scheduling to meet business needs Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds and move around the sales floor and stockroom
Educational Requirements and Experience
Minimum: High School Diploma or GED Minimum one year of sales associate or relevant experience with proven results
