Known for building long-term client partnerships, the company is expanding its commercial team to accelerate growth across the Southeast region. About the Role
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving new business while maintaining and developing existing customer relationships across Atlanta, western Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, and northwest Florida. This position requires a strong hunter mentality, the ability to develop a robust sales pipeline, and the commercial expertise to act as a trusted advisor to shippers. The role offers direct impact on the companys growth and the opportunity to expand territory scope based on success. Key Responsibilities Achieve annual sales growth targets through new business acquisition and account development. Develop and manage a sales pipeline across multiple industries, verticals, and service types. Maintain and grow existing accounts through regular visits, client engagement, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs). Partner with pricing and operations teams to prepare, deliver, and follow up on client proposals. Design and present comprehensive logistics, forwarding, and customs brokerage solutions. Ensure smooth onboarding of new customers, including SOP development and documentation. Attend trade shows, networking functions, and industry events to build brand presence. Track activities in CRM, providing accurate pipeline management and reporting. Participate in regular sales meetings and submit timely expense reports.
Candidate Profile
Proven sales experience in international freight forwarding, NVOCC, air freight, customs brokerage, and 3PL services. Strong knowledge of global logistics, particularly customs brokerage solutions. Established network of importer/exporter contacts. Demonstrated ability to build a pipeline across multiple deal sizes and verticals. Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with strong ROI awareness. Bachelors degree preferred.
