The Scrum Master serves as a facilitator and Agile coach for up to two development teams. This position provides leadership to help Agile teams adhere to Scrum rules, applies SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprise) practices and principles, and works within and outside the team to remove impediments. The role fosters transparency and continuous improvement through proactive communication with the team, management, and external stakeholders. Responsibilities

Focus the Agile team on delivering planned value. Ensure the team achieves objectives by reinforcing SAFe framework and Scrum principles, guiding ceremonies, and maintaining focus on goals. Guide the team and organization on Agile/Scrum practices and values. Promote self-organization and help fill gaps within Agile/Scrum frameworks. Assess Scrum maturity and coach the team toward higher maturity at a sustainable pace. Facilitate work completion and help remove impediments beyond the teams authority or requiring other teams support. Help the team remove impediments by engaging the right personnel. Foster continuous improvement and healthy intra-team dynamics through retrospectives, problem-solving coaching, conflict resolution, and issue escalation when needed. Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution. Coordinate with other teams (DevOps, System Teams, Shared Services, and other Scrum Masters) as needed. Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency and radiating information. Support and educate the Product Owner, especially regarding maintenance and work on the product backlog. Guide the team through estimating and forecasting. This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. Requirements

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience. Two years of relevant business/development support, user story creation, writing, and estimation. Experience with Agile and/or Scrum. Experience communicating technical information to a non-technical audience. Certifications/Licensures

First Level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) and/or SAFe Practitioner certification. Preferences

Two years of project management experience, preferably in Information Technology. One year of experience in the Scrum Master role for a software development team applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory. Experience as a Team Leader with coaching, training, or developing teams. Extensive Agile/Scrum experience; Second level Scrum Master certification (CSP, PSM II) and/or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master certification. Experience as a Scrum Master for two years with software development teams applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory. Knowledge of other Agile approaches (XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.). Knowledge of Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, CI, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games; working knowledge of SAFe. Skills and Competencies

Knowledge of patterns and techniques to fill gaps in Scrum (Burndown techniques, Retrospective formats, bug handling, etc.). Strong servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and transparency. Strong collaboration, facilitation, and conflict management skills. Note: level may be adjusted based on candidate qualifications and experience. Additional Job Details

Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps is a plus. Ability to define and track Agile metrics (velocity, cycle time, team health) to drive continuous improvement. Experience facilitating cross-team dependencies and participating in PI Planning and Scrum of Scrums. Strong coaching skills for team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders in Agile mindset and practices. Familiarity with SQL for querying Agile metrics or supporting data-driven retrospectives and reporting is a plus. Familiarity with eSignature, document scanning, or intelligent document processing applications is a plus. This position is intended to be onsite, with regular office presence three or more days a week. The manager sets the work schedule, and Regions does not provide relocation assistance. Pay ranges are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Factors such as experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, location, and performance affect pay. The following market figures are for the Metropolitan Statistical Area where the position is located and reflect the level of the role.
