Banquet Server | Hotel Leo As a banquet server you will be an integral part of bringing beautiful spaces to life with your attention to detail and care for the space and the guests enjoying it. You are responsible for creating unmatched experiences by engaging guests, maintaining quality of food and beverage offerings, and assisting in keeping events running smooth and consistent with their designed timeline. Your communication with your supervisor and peers is crucial to attain success in these often busy environments. You are a vital part of creating a successful event experience for each guest. Setting up buffet and plated dining rooms according to clear direction from the sales and F&B management team. Serving food and beverage items to guests in accordance with established standards Communicates special requests to the culinary team and pays close attention to details in the contracted event order. Keeps a close eye on the consistency and quality of the food and beverage served at an event. Maintains cleanliness and organization of an event space throughout the event. Considers guests needs while understanding the importance of the event order and communicates any concerns and/or needs of the guest to the leader of the event. This worker will be fully involved in setting rooms with tables, chairs, linens, decorations, serviceware and more from the bottom up. Keeps work area, including guest dining area, clean and organized The Nitty Gritty Previous experience as a banquet server in a similar environment Ability to perform essential functions on the computerized Point of Sale system Working knowledge of dining and beverage service procedures Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations Necessary State Food Handlers License(s) and Liquor Serving Permit(s) Dont meet every single requirement?
