They are seeking a motivated Junior Art Director with copywriting skills for a freelance, hybrid role based in NYC (3 days in office a week and 2 remote). This position offers growth potential from temp-to-perm.
Freelance rate during temp (trial period) - $30-40/hr Full-time salary post trial: $75-85k
Key Responsibilities:
• Create visually appealing, brand-aligned email and SMS marketing assets using Figma. • Write clear, engaging copy for digital campaigns. • Collaborate with strategists, designers, and account managers to ensure cohesive campaign delivery. • Support senior creatives and contribute fresh ideas. • Maintain design systems and optimize assets for performance across devices. • Participate in brainstorming to enhance user experience and campaign effectiveness.
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of experience in graphic design or art direction, ideally with email or SMS marketing exposure. • Strong copywriting skills for marketing communications. • Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. • Familiarity with Google Workspace tools. • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines. • Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn.
