$20.66 - $25.83 Under the direction of a registered radiologic technologist or radiologist, operates radiographic equipment to obtain ordered radiographs consistent with department routines and procedures. Positions patients, adjusts equipment for proper exposure settings, and processes images following the procedure. Performs limited radiographic procedures according to Montana State permit limitations. Essential Job Functions Supports and models behaviors consistent with the mission and philosophy of Billings Clinic and department/service. Ensures radiological services are in compliance with standards established by the institution, state, and according to limited permit State statute. Performs non-complex procedures and radiographs using the appropriate department routine as ordered. Ensures exams are checked by the registered radiologic technologist for critique and approval. Prepares the room, equipment, and supplies as dictated by the examination or patient needs, and processes the necessary radiographs. Prepares the patient for the examination, explains the procedure, and transfers/positions the patient as needed. Demonstrates awareness of radiation safety for patients, self, and co-workers. Assists the patient at the end of the examination. Informs management or lead technologist of any concerns or conditions related to staff, patients, and physicians. Assists with quality improvement, technique charts, and maintains supplies. Performs clerical tasks such as working up patients, maintaining image files, and completing paperwork. May float to various departments, clinics, and off-site facilities to fulfill staffing needs. Identifies needs and sets goals for own growth. Meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements. Maintains competency in safety standards relevant to the job. Performs other duties as assigned to meet departmental/organizational needs.

Education Current Montana license as a X-Ray Limited Permit Tech CPR Certification for Healthcare Providers
