Performs computerized imaging, knowledge of all equipment and monitors. Assist patients and physicians as needed. Qualifications
Education Required Education: High School Diploma or GED Preferred Education: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology Necessary Skills Knowledge of computer software and ability to troubleshoot Ability to provide physical and/or psychological support to patients screening and patient limitations Required Licensure/Certifications BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross ARRT (R) Radiography required; within 1 year of hire or transfer obtain ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography License qualification/certification combinations: Combination 1: FL DOH license qualification: General Radiographer or Radiologist Assistant; Certification/registration ARRT (R) Radiography; ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography Combination 2: FL DOH license qualification: Nuclear Medicine Technologist; Certification/registration ARRT (N) Nuclear Medicine Technology or NMTCB; ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography Combination 3: FL DOH license qualification: Radiation Therapy Technologist; Certification/registration ARRT (T) Radiation Therapy; ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography Combination 4: FL DOH license qualification: General Radiographer, Radiologist Assistant, or Computed Tomography; Certification/registration ARRT (R) Radiography; ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography Required Experience Less than one year in computerized imaging (CT, x-ray, nuclear medicine, or radiation therapy), or graduate of a post-secondary CT certification program Preferred Experience One year of radiology experience within Diagnostic Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, or MRI and graduate of a post-secondary CT certification program or 1 year of CT imaging experience
