Electronic Systems Technician on 2nd shift . What You Will Do Reads and interprets board layouts, schematics and BOMs Tests faulty equipment and applies knowledge of functional operation of electronics to diagnose causes of the malfunction and repair Adjusts, modifies and repairs electronic systems, works from sketches, layouts, and diagrams Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance Maintains electric and electronic test equipment Checks functioning of newly installed equipment to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions Disassemble manual equipment and replace it with new or repaired parts Uses hand tools, power tools, and simple machine tools to repair manufacturing equipment Perform Preventative Maintenance on manufacturing equipment Perform General Maintenance duties as needed Perform system calibrations and recordings
Qualifications You Must Have
HS Diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in a related field Broad knowledge of electronics and electrical theory, including AC, DC and solid state theory, polyphase power, and a thorough understanding of computer operations and codes, mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics, and their interdependence in control systems Ability to use math through trig, work from complex schematics and technical material, and use a variety of test equipment
Qualifications We Prefer
Bachelors degree in electronic engineering or completed 4-year Apprenticeship 4+ years experience in Aerospace/Manufacturing 3+ years electronics/electrical trades experience working on and servicing CNC machines Licensed electrician E1/E2
