Overview
Seasonal Certified Surgical Technologist position at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. Start dates for all seasonal roles are in November (11/24). External applicants with at least one year of experience may be eligible for a seasonal bonus up to $6,000. Payment structure: two-thirds paid within 1 month of hire and one-third paid at the end of the season (4/11/26). PT and FT only. A $400/month Summit County housing stipend is available for full-time residents of Summit, Park, Eagle, Grand, Clear Creek or Lake Counties who work at least 80% on-site at a Common Spirit facility in Summit County (full-time or part-time; PRN ineligible). More details available upon offer. Location: St. Anthony Summit Hospital, Summit County, Colorado. Schedule: 40 hours per week with variable shifts based on surgical volume and unit needs. Night call is required (every night from 9pm to 7am) with an average of 7 nights per schedule period and a 30-minute callback radius. Pay range: $29.68 - $44.91 per hour. Work under the supervision of the surgeon and RN. Assist the surgical team during operative procedures by preparing and inventorying sterile setup of instruments, equipment and supplies, and passing items to surgeons and nurses as needed. Prepare and move patients and sterilize/clean instruments, equipment and rooms; assist with room turnover and restocking. Maintain the sterile field during procedures and hand instruments to surgeons, anticipating their needs. Qualifications
HS Diploma/GED required. Completion of an approved Surgical Technician program required. BLS from the American Heart Association required. Current registration with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) as a surgical technologist for associates working in Colorado (note: a person performing Surgical Tech functions within the scope of another license/registration does not need to register). Certification in Surgical Technology from NBSTSA or CST from NCCT required. One year of experience in a surgical setting preferred; experience in a specialty field preferred.
