Overview
Payment Operations Technical Support Specialist The role is to complete client support requests by researching payment reconciliation, transaction, and reporting issues; investigating missing payments; conducting card scanner troubleshooting; and completing other support requests related to Waystar’s Patient Payments solution. The role will also cross-train on supporting the Print Services product by working with customers, vendors, other Waystar departments, and our printing partner. What You'll Do
Ability to comprehend data dictionaries, file structures, and file formats Complete understanding of the Waystar solutions and how the solutions can be applied to the client\'s business practices Direct and manage multiple client projects and facilitate timely resolution Serve as a liaison between the vendor and Primary Project Manager when acting as a project resource Proactively manage changes in project scope and devise contingency plans Identify and resolve service disruptions to the satisfaction of all parties involved Escalate incidents that compromise project deliverables to the appropriate personnel Execute tasks and project deliverables in a timely manner As primary client contact on projects, serve as the Project Manager Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support operational business goals Communicate project expectations with the client, project team, and all involved parties Set and continually manage project expectations with client and team Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools Meet project financial objectives and estimated revenue Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills Prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Vendor relations skills are strongly preferred Maintain reliability and accountability Develop client and colleague relationship management skills Verify new merchant accounts (quality control) Support positive teamwork and fluid communication across departments Remain flexible and assist customers by coordinating with vendors and partners for changes or special requests Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned by the Financial Services Implementation Manager Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management within the area of responsibility Travel may be required What You'll Need
Bachelor\'s degree required Medical practice experience Experience with implementation of system software Demonstrated project management experience Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively Serve as a liaison between client and internal project team Adaptability and influencing skills at various levels Quick learner and self-motivated Problem solving skills; process-driven but able to work in a team Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer functionality About Waystar
