About the Role

As a Senior Analyst supporting the Vulnerability Management team, you will support the identification, assessment, and reduction of risks across Cardinal Healths infrastructure and digital assets. This entry-level role contributes to tactical efforts that improve vulnerability remediation processes and reduce the organizations exposure to threats. Key responsibilities include assisting with asset discovery, analyzing vulnerabilities, supporting remediation activities, managing security tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and helping report on the organizations vulnerability management posture. Accountabilities

Serves as vulnerability management and attack surface analyst for assigned information systems and computer networks. The individual in this position should be self-motivated and will have the opportunity to contribute in the analysis, coordination, and remediation of system vulnerabilities. Analyzes vulnerabilities and characterizes risk to networks, operating systems, applications, databases, and other information system components. Engages with stakeholders and system owners to facilitate vulnerability discovery through manual review and/or the use of vulnerability scanners. Facilitates the coordination of remediation efforts, prioritizing remediation based on risk.

Required Qualifications

Familiarity with understanding of vulnerabilities and remediation techniques. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical details clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field. Familiarity with vulnerability management tools (Rapid7, Nessus, Qualys, Xpanse, etc.). 1+ years of experience in specific domains of information security preferred. CompTIA Security+ Certification.

Compensation and Benefits

Anticipated salary range: $80,500 - $114,900.
