The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist operates CT equipment independently, performs diagnostic CT exams, and communicates results under the direction of a Radiologist, following ARRT rules and regulations. Responsible for daily department operations, patient scheduling, equipment maintenance, reporting failures, and quality assessment (QA). Maintains high medical ethics standards and seeks to increase knowledge of the field, diseases, and procedures. Qualifications needed: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment. Registered Radiographer (ARRT). State Registered Radiologic Technician.
