Provide technical leadership and perform a variety of duties relating to reporting Clinical Information Systems data. The position focuses on developing reporting solutions to support ongoing operations of UC Davis Health. The incumbent will work with clinicians and administrators to extract complex datasets from Epics relational and dimensional databases (Clarity and Caboodle) as well as other databases (e.g., OMOP). This process includes requirements gathering, data retrieval, validation, and curation. Projects will require translating data into informative and actionable visualizations using Tableau, WebI, and Crystal Reports. Base pay range
$102,400.00/yr - $202,400.00/yr Minimum Qualifications
Epic certification in Clarity, Caboodle, or Cogito or equivalent training/experience. If no current certification, must obtain certification in two attempts within first 6 months of employment Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, Public Health, Health Care Administration or equivalent experience/training Extensive experience designing, creating, testing, and implementing reports using Business Objects Enterprise, Power BI, SlicerDicer, and Tableau 2 years developing data visualizations with Tableau 2 years experience with user security for Tableau Server 5 years writing SQL queries and optimizing queries 5 years translating user requirements into report specifications Proficient use of office automation software Experience with healthcare information systems Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and/or SQL Server Experience with a workflow system such as ServiceNow Ability to execute complex Tableau concepts to meet difficult requirements Key Responsibilities
