Insight Global is seeking a Network Engineer to support our DoD customer based in San Diego, California. This role will assist the team with designing, ordering, deploying, and managing networking and transport solutions to support long-term Information System (IS) management goals. You will install and configure network equipment and provide support to systems administrators. This program involves deploying cutting-edge solutions for mission-critical data across multiple customers and agencies. Position Details
Position: Top Secret Network Engineer Company: SAIC - Science Applications International Corporations Interviews: 1 round Employment: 6 Month contract to hire. WILL CONVERT PERMANENTLY Clearance: Top Secret Location: San Diego, CA Compensation
Base pay range: $45.00/hr - $60.00/hr Salary Conversion: 140,000-175,000 Hourly: $45-$60/HR Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree and 3+ years experience, or HS degree and 9+ years of experience Active TS clearance and willingness to sit for a CI Poly within 6 months Experience configuring Cisco routers and switches Experience setting up Local and Wide area networks Experience configuring firewalls (Palo Alto preferred) Experience setting up network encryption infrastructure (TACLANE) Working knowledge or familiarity with Linux based environments Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience working with Dell hardware and with the Dell CLI Benefits
