Summary

Under the direction of the Chief Information Officer, the Senior Infrastructure Engineer will lead the charge in the IT department to modernize the infrastructure that powers our business. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer position will be instrumental in helpling to transition the company from a traditional on-premises VMware setup to a cloud-first architecture. This hands-on, strategic role requires a skilled IT professional with deep expertise in Azure Cloud, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and hybrid infrastructure environments. Key Responsibilities

Cloud & Infrastructure Architecture Design and implement scalable solutions in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, cloud migration) Lead the modernization of legacy systems and guide the transition to cloud-native services Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies (Azure, Rubrik) Support and manage Office 365, SharePoint Online, Intune, and Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) Hybrid & On-Prem Support Maintain and optimize VMware environments during the transition phase Provide engineering support for on-prem systems and SaaS applications Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies (Veeam) Operations & Automation Oversee enterprise systems: Windows/Linux servers, storage (SAN/NAS), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Terraform and GitHub Actions Integrate infrastructure systems and tools using RESTful APIs (e.g., Microsoft Graph, Rubrik, etc) Implement and drive proactive monitoring and performance tuning using leading tools Security & Compliance Collaborate with SOC to enforce endpoint protection, firewall rules, and identity governance Lead internal audits, risk assessments, and policy development Ensure compliance with RTO/RPO requirements through recovery simulations Leadership & Collaboration Serve as a technical lead and escalation point for complex infrastructure issues Partner with application and InfoSec teams to deliver secure, scalable systems Manage vendors, licensing, and procurement in coordination with IT leadership Required Qualifications

710+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure (systems and network) Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred Strong knowledge of AD, Azure, VMware/SAN, Windows Server, Network Experience with virtual networking, DNS/DHCP, firewalls, and wireless access Proven ability to lead infrastructure projects and collaborate across teams Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills Automation & Scripting: PowerShell Preferred Qualifications Azure Certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect) VMware, CompTIA Security+, Network+ Telephony experience Automation & Scripting: YAML, JSON, Terraform, GitHub Actions Experience integrating and troubleshooting RESTful APIs for infrastructure platforms Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and DevOps toolchains Compensation
