Columbus, OH Allied Health Professional // MRI Technologist All On-site 13 weeks 8 hours/day 5 days/week Role Summary

Radiology/Cardiology MRI Technologist operates MRI equipment to capture detailed images of patients organs and tissues, with a focus on cardiac and vascular systems. They prepare patients for scans, explain procedures, and ensure safety during imaging. The technologist collaborates with physicians to provide accurate diagnostic images. They also maintain imaging equipment and follow strict safety and quality protocols. Responsibilities Perform MRI scans focusing on neuro, abdominal, and musculoskeletal imaging with emphasis on oncology cases. Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety during imaging procedures. Collaborate with physicians to provide accurate diagnostic images and maintain equipment. Support both inpatient and outpatient imaging services; focus on weekend night shifts. Follow safety and quality protocols; maintain documentation in EPIC. Ensure image quality and proper use of imaging modalities and equipment (PACS; Siemens systems).

Average Daily Census: 3540 cases/day Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics Electronic Documentation: EPIC

Required Experience & Certifications

Minimum 2 years of MRI experience ARRT certification BLS certification Valid Ohio State License

Required Skills

Experience in Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, and Pediatric Acute Care settings Proficiency in imaging: Abdominal, Female & Male Pelvis, Chest, Brain, Face/Neck, Hip/Bony Pelvis, Knee, Shoulder Familiarity with PACS and Siemens equipment
