Nursing House Supervisor
for a full-time, night shift position. The House Supervisor, a Registered Nurse, assumes responsibility for hospital supervision during their shift under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer. They work closely with nursing leadership to ensure continuity of care in the absence of direct supervisors. Foster patient and family-centered care aligned with the organization's mission and values. Create a satisfying workplace promoting professional growth and job satisfaction. Collaborate with hospital personnel and physicians to ensure optimal patient care. Promote a positive hospital environment. Ensure departmental compliance with practice standards, regulations, and accreditation requirements. Work with senior management to meet facility goals. Enforce policies and procedures for nursing units and assist in revisions. Adjust staffing levels based on patient acuity, census, and needs. Serve as a surge and knowledge resource across clinical departments. Act as a Telemetry Monitor Tech on the Post-Surgical Unit. Assist with direct and indirect patient care, including laboratory tasks. Facilitate clinical and administrative audits and lead performance improvement projects. Respond to hospital codes and ensure safety practices. Act as incident commander during internal or external disasters. Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative staff regarding incidents and interventions. Required Skills: Graduate of a professional nursing program. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Minimum of three years of acute clinical nursing experience. Previous leadership experience such as charge nurse or supervisor. Current Texas RN licensure. Certification in critical care or ICU nursing. Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications. Seniority level
