Pay Range:
($65-$70) hourly
Responsbilities: Lead a team of engineers by shaping technical roadmaps, mentoring individuals, and supporting career development. Provide
hands-on guidance on architecture, code quality, and DevOps practices , including CI/CD pipelines and application monitoring. Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js, Node.js, and AWS infrastructure. Define and drive platform-level technical strategy across web and mobile stacks (e.g., React, Node.js, GraphQL). Interact and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, UX, Architecture, QA, and business stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle. Implement high-quality, user-centric features in a modern JavaScript ecosystem. Promote engineering best practices: performance tuning, code reviews, testing, maintainability, and system scalability. Troubleshoot and debug complex production issues and oversee incident response and resolution. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform team direction and innovation. Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence. Must Have:
5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 1+ years in a tech lead or formal leadership role. Proven experience leading teams in large-scale e-commerce, retail, or omnichannel environments (e.g., PLM, OMS, WMS). Expertise in React (or Next.js), Node.js, and TypeScript; strong grounding in HTML5, CSS3, and CSS-in-JS libraries (e.g., styled-components). Deep understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS). Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, Bitbucket, GitHub, and JIRA. Proficiency with performance and observability tools like Sentry, New Relic, or JMeter. Solid grasp of Computer Science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis. Effective communicator with cross-functional collaboration and team leadership capabilities. Experience with GraphQL, JAMstack, headless CMS (e.g., Builder.io ), or ColdFusion is a plus. Tech Stack:
