Overview of Your Role
As a Radiology Technologist at our facility, you will conduct diagnostic radiographic procedures under the guidance of a physician, ensuring compliance with established protocols for optimal patient outcomes. You will uphold the mission of HCA Healthcare, focusing on improving human lives through quality care.
Responsibilities:
Prepare necessary supplies and equipment as per physician preference.
Conduct regular equipment checks to ensure reliable operation.
Accurately document patient information in accordance with policies and procedures.
Ensure proper shielding and safety for all individuals in the radiology room before initiating x-ray processes.
Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient status and care requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and functionality of radiology instruments and supplies.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited school of radiology is required.
A minimum of two (2) years of radiology tech experience is preferred, ideally in an operating room or surgery center setting.
Must have ARRT (R) and BLS certification.
Must possess a current state license as applicable.
