Senior Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer

You will engage with stakeholders and system engineering to capture and prioritize needs and then synthesize the needs into oximetry features and products. In this role, you will: Architect, design, develop, test, document, and maintain embedded systems using mixed-signal MCUs for oximetry platforms. Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the embedded system development life cycle to support the generation of such engineering applications and wide range of products. Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including interfacing with clinicians, customers, and KOLs, to better understand use environments and needs. Apply a thorough understanding of technologies used to measure physiological signals and knowledge of human physiology to inform product design decisions, prioritize design tradeoffs, provide strategic input on the development pathway, and ensure alignment with use cases/use scenarios. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering or related engineering/science degree with a minimum 4 years of relevant experience or Master's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Demonstrated experience of embedded software design and implementation. Ability to work in a team environment both locally and globally. PR) locations (USD): $122,400.00- $183,600.00 The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California.
