Summary
The Radiology Team Lead shall oversee all personnel performing radiologic procedures. This individual may also perform duties involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for detecting pathology. The Team Lead will assist with maintaining film file records. Additional duties within the scope of the role may be assigned. Education / Experience
Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology required. Minimum 2 years technical experience required. License / Certification
Active ARRT registry required, BLS required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must be aware of hospital and departmental needs at all times. Must possess decision-making and delegating skills. Ability to work from broad directions and be self-motivated. Ability to prioritize workload to achieve maximum efficiency. Effective communication skills with people of various backgrounds. Provide positive customer service to guests, visitors, and patients. Knowledge of HIPAA standards and regulations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, guests, and hospital personnel. Show compassion and sensitivity for patient comfort. Maintain confidentiality. Observe, assess, and record work, safety, and infection control standards. Work independently and in a team environment. Foster a cooperative work environment. Primary Location
