Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst for its Tampa, FL location. Responsibilities Serve as a senior Java resource and liaise with business users to understand requirements, document business requirements, work with technology teams to implement the reconciliation, define testing strategy, conduct user acceptance testing, and provide post-implementation support. Develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical software applications based on Java/J2EE components, Shell, and PL/SQL programming under UNIX and MS Windows platforms considering high-availability and performance. Develop API-based modules to interact with SQL services and perform data storage, search, retrieval, and reporting/sharing with dependent applications. Implement rule-based application engines using advanced computer algorithms and theories. Implement load test environment considering real-time network traffic from various dependent applications. Identify and implement testing patterns for application engines considering latest security patches from various vendors including UNIX and JAVA (Oracle). Develop code to automate workflows to perform security event monitoring and incident management through Autosys application and develop API-based executable code to automatically remediate the identified issues. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Technologies, or a related field, and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation developing applications. Four (4) years of experience must include: Designing and developing Java/J2EE based web applications for client server environments which involve business process workflow and analytical data; Working with Spring framework using Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Spring DAO, Spring JDBC, and Spring IOC to develop web-based Java applications; Using Hibernate to access and update information in database and Hibernate object-relational mapping tool to automate mapping between SQL databases and objects in Java; Developing high-performance multi-threaded applications; MySQL, Oracle or DB2 programming languages with performance tuning; UI development, including using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery to improve functionality of web applications; Delivering in an Agile methodology environment; and Source code management using SVN or Git tools. In the alternative, employer will accept a Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, and two (2) years of experience. Employer will accept pre- or post- Masters degree experience. Hours: 40 hrs./wk.
