Data Engineer, Senior
responsible for carrying out engineering tasks to deliver an advanced visual analytic application, including: developing data analytics for desktop and web-based visual analytic software; facilitating the bulk analysis of relational information utilizing advanced graphics, visualization, and high-performance computing; and establishing an application that produces manageable, actionable intelligence from streams of structured and semi-structured data. This position is located at the FBI facility in Winchester, VA. For select positions, the FBI may locate the position in Washington, D.C., but that will be determined by the customer. The government has established policies for on-site vs remote work, which vary across divisions and contracts. Staff are obligated to adhere to these policies and react accordingly as policies change over time. Where allowed, hybrid work must be coordinated with the team lead and/or government POC, ensuring there is no interruption with the delivery of services. Requirements
Active Top-Secret Clearance w/SCI and CI Poly or ability to obtain CI Poly. Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 8 years related work experience. Experience developing an advanced visual analytic application, including: developing data analytics for desktop and web-based visual analytic software; facilitating the bulk analysis of relational information utilizing advanced graphics, visualization, and high-performance computing, as well as using the specified open source, COTS, and GOTS technologies.
