SITEC - IT Specialist - Coronado, CA at Peraton Overview Peraton requires an IT Specialist to support the Special Operations Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3. This role is in Coronado, CA. The purpose of the SITEC 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, TSOCs, and deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks support USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and end users who operate globally 24x7x365. Responsibilities Provide installation, tuning, testing, operation, monitoring, upgrading, patching, break/fix, defense, and management of WAN and LAN routing and switching infrastructure hardware and software. Plan, design, engineer, configure, install, operate, maintain, defend, troubleshoot, and repair LAN/WAN capabilities, including point-to-point circuits, satellite connectivity, dedicated Internet connections, and broadband connections; manage routers, switches, and encryption devices. Plan, design, engineer, configure, operate, maintain, defend, troubleshoot, and repair LAN PORs. Plan, design, engineer, configure, operate, maintain, defend, troubleshoot, and repair WAN infrastructures and circuits with external USSOCOM and commercial providers and encryption devices. Plan, design, engineer, configure, operate, maintain, defend, troubleshoot, and repair WAN Programs of Record (PORs). Plan, design, engineer, configure, operate, maintain, defend, troubleshoot, and repair VLAN architectures for USSOCOM, components, TSOCs, and deployed forces. Plan, design, engineer, configure, maintain, defend, troubleshoot, and repair classified and unclassified wireless LANs and wireless access points interconnected to the wired infrastructure. Provision, operate, manage, and monitor LAN/WAN VPN services to securely connect remote elements and mission partners, ensuring compliance with DoD, DIA, DISA, USCYBERCOM, and USSOCOM policies and directives. Troubleshoot LAN/WAN voice, data, and transmission networks and assess effects of changes. Implement network and security access; configure, update, monitor, manage, troubleshoot, and document routers and switches in USSOCOM networks. Collaborate with external Government and commercial circuit providers to expedite circuit outage restoration. Troubleshoot and proactively resolve technical issues; provide technical problem solving for customer support of databases. Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop PCs, mobile devices, and peripherals such as printers; install and configure application and OS software and upgrades; perform data migration to new equipment. Maintain inventory of installed software, manage software licensing, and create policies for upgrades; coordinate with vendors for timely product delivery. Analyze and recommend hardware and software standardization. Qualifications BS + 8 years of experience OR MS + 6 years of experience OR PhD with 3 years of experience; OR HS with 12 years of experience OR AA with 10 years of experience. DoD TS/SCI or higher clearance is required. Required certification: DoD 01-M IAT II AND CCNA. Details Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. Salary is determined by factors including scope, experience, education, location, and contract considerations. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may be available where applicable.
