Own the rental revenue for Sonsrays construction equipment portfolio across your territory. Prospect and grow accounts, visit active jobsites, and match customers with the right gearearthmoving, material handling, and aerial equipment. From first call to delivery and pickup, manage quotes, contracts, coordinate logistics, and keep customers coming back. Run full-cycle rentals: scope applications, recommend equipment, price/quote, secure credit/agreements, and coordinate delivery/pickup with the branch. Provide basic walk-arounds, safety talking points, and application guidance so customers get the right machine the first time. Own the customer experience: check in during rentals, resolve issues quickly with service/dispatch, and proactively book the next need. Maintain a clean CRM with activities, opportunities, quotes, and forecasts; share weekly territory updates and market intel. Collaborate with rental desk, service, parts, and ops to deliver on-time, on-spec solutions; pass along machine sales leads when appropriate. Qualifications
3+ years in construction equipment rentals/sales or a closely related heavy equipment field. Working knowledge of earthmoving, material handling, and aerial equipment; ability to translate jobsite needs into the right rental package. Proven outside sales experience: canvassing, cold calling, territory planning, and consistent quota achievement. Valid drivers license with a clean, insurable driving record; 21+ years old (insurance requirement). Comfortable on active construction sites (PPE, uneven terrain, weather). Strong negotiation and quoting skills; proficient with CRM and productivity tools (Outlook/Office or Google Workspace). High school diploma or equivalent required; AA/BA a plus. Bonus points: CASE/Hitachi experience, established local contractor network, Spanish bilingual. Territory & Compensation
Territory:
Greater LA County (Long Beach, South Bay) through Ventura, Rosamond, and Lancaster. Compensation:
$45,000$50,000 base DOE + uncapped commission (real six-figure potential for top performers) and company vehicle provided. Benefits
