Recruitment Consultant | Data & Software Engineering at Harnham AI-Driven Insurance Tech 5 days on-site Jacksonville, FL Were working with a global financial services company thats undergoing a deep tech transformation building modern, AI-enabled platforms to bring automation, scalability, and intelligence to a historically legacy-driven industry. With significant new investment in cloud infrastructure, data engineering, and intelligent applications, this is a rare chance to join a greenfield initiative inside a well-funded, stable enterprise. Theyre hiring a Full Stack Engineer to help lead development of internal tools and client-facing products that sit at the intersection of data, cloud infrastructure, and smart automation. The Role: As a Full Stack Engineer, youll take full ownership of a new React-based application that acts as a dynamic data-mapping interface between incoming files and the companys Snowflake data warehouse. Youll work directly with the Director of Software Engineering and have a high degree of autonomy in shaping how the application is built, scaled, and eventually opened to external clients. This is an end-to-end build, ideal for someone whos led greenfield efforts and thrives in high-ownership environments. Responsibilities: Architect and build a full stack React application from scratch Develop and integrate backend APIs to support dynamic data flows Work closely with Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory to move and structure large-scale datasets Collaborate across engineering and data teams to define and deliver a high-quality internal product Ensure maintainability, scalability, and performance as usage expands Contribute to design, code quality, deployment, and documentation standards Requirements: 68+ years of software engineering experience Proven experience working on greenfield applications from design to deployment Solid experience building and consuming REST APIs Familiarity with backend systems and cloud platforms, ideally in Azure Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Bonus: Experience with Tailwind, CSS, or Python Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, or Azure Data Factory Background in insurance, fintech, or regulated environments Prior experience in smaller teams or startup-like environments Interest in building client-facing tools and platforms The Benefits: Base salary of $150,000 + 10% annual bonus 401(k) plan with Fidelity 15 PTO days (increases to 20 after 5 years) 12 paid holidays + 1 floating holiday High-impact role with long-term growth potential How to Apply: Submit your resume via the Apply link.
