The Lead MR Technologist performs complex MRI procedures using 1.5T and 3.0T systems while providing leadership and supervision to ensure efficient patient care and imaging operations. Responsibilities include operating MRI-safe devices, assisting with interventional procedures, administering contrast materials under radiologist supervision, and maintaining detailed patient and imaging records in compliance with regulations. You will assist in coordinating patient flow, supervising staff performance, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring proper equipment and supply management. Additionally, you will provide patient education, monitor patient safety and comfort, and adhere to strict confidentiality and infection control standards across all UCLA Health System imaging locations. Salary Range: $57.63 - $76.02 Hourly Qualifications
Licenses A combination of the ARRT and CRT - required. MR certificate required OR a combination of the ARRT and ARMRIT (MR) - required At least 5 years of MRI experience - required At least 3 years of Senior MRI status - preferred AA Degree - required BS Degree - preferred BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required Graduate from an AMA Radiologic Technologist Program - required Venipuncture certificate - required Ability to train technical staff in clinical applications Ability to appropriately confront and resolve issues
