Position Summary

Responsible for the receipt, verification, and processing of all goods received by the Resort Kitchen. Performs storeroom operations tasks including receiving, inspecting, documenting and distributing food and beverage items; storeroom organization; inventory and maintenance; and reporting stock level of food and beverage items to Manager. Maintains a clean, orderly, efficient storeroom operation. Primary Responsibilities

Receives and Inspects all deliveries according to property's policies and procedures to ensure daily compliance with specifications; verifies that invoice or packing slip is present. Checks delivery invoice against purchase order to verify weight, count, prices, and quality of goods received and accuracy of delivery. Refuses acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items. May assist with unloading deliveries from trucks. Maintains inventory and ensures efficient transport of goods, materials and supplies to each department. Monitors PAR of all food items to ensure proper levels. Ensures proper rotation of all products using FIFO. Conducts and/or assists with inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs for all Culinary storage areas. Participates in inventory of china, glass, and silver. Completes requisition forms for inventory and supplies. Places orders by phone or computer and enters inventory information into computer. Maintains copies of invoices and posts invoices using computer programs. Maintains clear and organized records for reports and invoices. Verifies and tracks received inventory and completes inventory reports and logs. Troubleshoots vendor delivery issues and oversees return process. Maintains dock and all storage areas. Maintains high sanitation standards for storeroom, walk-in, refrigerators, freezers and loading dock area to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Keeps areas clean and organized. Sweeps and mops all areas daily. Distributes goods and products to appropriate locations using dollies, handcarts or golf carts. Documents movement of merchandise from storage areas to outlets through daily requisitions. Follows safety policies and procedures; wears non-slip, oil resistant shoes. Reports potential safety issues to manager and takes action in emergencies. Complies with PPE requirements and Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) program. Maintains awareness of MSDS and reports defective PPE or equipment. Reports to work as scheduled (on time and regularly). Qualifications

High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience required. One year of related experience required; food handling experience desired. Completes required training as scheduled. Ability to serve guests through face-to-face interactions; positive attitude and professional demeanor. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; commitment to guest satisfaction. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Ability to learn and use hotel telephone and computer systems. Working knowledge of computer operation. Strong attention to detail; ability to multitask and solve practical problems. Ability to read and interpret documents; must be able to speak, read, write and understand English. Knowledge of inventory methods and practices. Requires valid Driver's license in good standing with clean driving record to drive golf cart; at least 18 years old. Must have valid current Food Handlers Card or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment. Ability to work varying schedules including holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts due to hospitality industry demands. Maintain a clean appearance and professional demeanor. Physical & Mental Demands

Team members regularly stand and walk for extended periods, work at a rapid pace, and move items using carts. May lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, with other lifting requirements described in the original role. Occasional exposure to heat, cold, loud noise, and hazardous conditions typical of kitchen and storage areas. Additional Job Details
