Your Responsibilities Develops and maintains favorable internal and external relationships, with the end goal of providing the highest level of customer service by meeting or exceeding industry standards. Oversees the servicing of a designated book of business related to marketing, claims, and administration. Researches root causes of issues, implements solutions, and resolves policy-related problems. Recommends enhancements or improvements to processes, products, and policies. Uses discretion and independent judgment when analyzing industry trends and providing client guidance. Develops financial models and reports for clients and senior staff, providing interpretations, implications, and recommendations. Provides strategic planning and consultative advice to clients, including coverage analysis and recommendations for changes. Engages in client strategy meetings to manage insured expectations for upcoming terms. Develops and presents coverage plans and renewal terms to clients. Assesses and interprets exposure information from clients. Analyzes quotes from carriers to determine appropriate recommendations. Interprets and evaluates policy terms to ensure adequate coverage for client exposures. Facilitates client premium financing. Participates in negotiations with carriers for quotes and renewals. Collaborates with senior staff in selecting new markets and requesting quotes. Reviews new business opportunities and provides recommendations to the Unit Manager/Account Executive. Establishes and maintains relationships with clients, carriers, and vendors. Researches industry trends and government regulations. Mentors and trains junior staff. Performs other duties as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience. Typically, more than 7 years of client services experience. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Experience within the brokerage industry and understanding of industry trends and regulations. Ability to complete continuing education and attend meetings and training sessions. Ability to protect confidentiality and manage time effectively. Willingness to travel as needed. Legally authorized to work in the United States.
