You are crucial as Manager of Nursing Registered Nurse 1 in creating a supportive, healthy space for staff. Your responsibilities include promoting top-tier nursing practices and ensuring a nurturing environment. You play a key role in planning, policy formation, resource allocation, and improvement efforts. Designing educational programs and providing nursing care is also essential. Essential Functions

Shape the future of nursing practice in your specific area. Ensure your team stays updated with practice standards. Advocate for the use of evidence-based practices and research. Cultivate a compassionate space for both patients and staff. Uphold the highest standards of service. Execute the succession plan in your department. Create strategies for staff and patients in line with the organization's priorities. Promote ethical practice and effective patient care through open communication and coordination. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to guarantee quality service. Dedicate time for your own professional growth while inspiring others to do the same. Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required. A minimum of three years' relevant experience is desired. Registered Nurse Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of starting the job. Preferred:

NICU and/or leadership certification. Location

Location/Facility: Baylor Scott & White Health, McKinney, Texas Speciality/Department Practice: NICU Shift/Schedule: Full time days, Monday-Friday with flexibility to work with night and weekend shift staff Benefits
