Experience: 4+ Years Department: Data Engineering / Analytics / IT Job Type: Full Time Job Location: Ahmedabad Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows in AWS. Build and maintain data lakes and data warehouses using AWS services such as: S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Athena, Lambda, Kinesis, Step Functions, etc. Develop data models and manage schema design for both structured and semi-structured data. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to integrate data into applications and analytics. Implement data quality monitoring, validation frameworks, and automated alerting. Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Develop CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK. Enforce data governance, security policies, and compliance standards (e.g., encryption, IAM roles, audit logging). Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to architectural decisions.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in data engineering. Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, PySpark). Expertise with AWS data services: Glue, Redshift, S3, Athena, Lambda, Step Functions, etc. Experience with job orchestration tools like Airflow, AWS Step Functions, or Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow (MWAA). Solid understanding of data modeling, data lake house architecture, and data warehouse concepts. Familiarity with DevOps principles, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, ECS). Experience handling streaming data pipelines using Kinesis or Kafka is a plus. Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate/Professional. Experience with dbt, Quicksight, or BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI. Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA).
