We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Integration Systems Administrator to support, maintain, and optimize enterprise integration systems, application servers, and middleware platforms. This role is vital in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of infrastructure that supports enterprise applications and data integration processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in administering middleware tools, J2EE application servers, and EnergyIP Meter Data Management systems, and will collaborate closely with internal and external teams to troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, and ensure best practices are followed. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain enterprise integration platforms such as IBM MQ, IBM ACE (App Connect Enterprise), MuleSoft, Active MQ, Kafka Support and manage EnergyIP Meter Data Management systems for optimal performance and reliability Monitor integration servers and middleware platforms to ensure high availability (24x7x365) Configure and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery setups Perform upgrades and patching for integration systems and middleware tools in alignment with policies and best practices Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, conducting root-cause analysis as needed Collaborate with integration developers to deploy APIs, services, and workflows Automate system administration tasks using Shell, Perl, DataWeave, or similar scripting languages Manage system security: user access, file permissions, and network protocols Review system metrics and proactively address potential issues Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines Provide cross-training and share technical knowledge with team members Act as liaison between IT infrastructure and integration teams for coordinated deployments and upgrades Participate in on-call rotation for critical system support Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited university Extensive experience with middleware tools such as IBM MQ, IBM ACE, MuleSoft, Active MQ, Kafka, and EnergyIP Meter Data Management systems Expertise in managing J2EE application servers: IBM WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat (on UNIX and Windows platforms) Strong skills in JVM performance tuning and troubleshooting Experience with file-based integration (FTP, SFTP, AWS S3, Azure Blob) Knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOAP, REST) and API administration Proficiency in scripting with Shell, Perl, DataWeave, and SQL Hands-on experience with middleware tools in high-availability environments Solid understanding of system security best practices

Preferred Qualifications

Masters degree in Information Systems or related field IBM ACE certification Previous experience in the utility industry
