Overview
Inova Alexandria Hospital is looking for a dedicated and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join the team. Sign on bonus and relocation assistance are eligible. Job Responsibilities Effectively utilizes Inova Health System Inventory Management systems. Assists RNs to accurately explain procedures to patients and families to ease anxiety. Troubleshoots equipment effectively and places service calls to Biomedical when necessary. Anticipates procedure flow and works with other team members to produce the highest quality care.
Job Requirements
Work schedule: Day shift, M-F, four 10-hour shifts, one weekend per month, and 12 shifts per week of call. Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) and ARRT registry in Vascular Interventional (VI), Cardiovascular (CV) or Cardiovascular Interventional (CI). Licensure Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Radiologic Technologist is required only if the position is located in a free-standing center not affiliated with an Inova Health System Hospital. Experience One year of work experience as a Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Technologist. Education Vocational/Technical degree in Radiologic Technology; graduate of an accredited school of Radiography.
