Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Lead Electrician - Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have the leadership skills necessary to independently manage a crew and job site. The role involves working in industrial, commercial, and residential settings, handling tasks such as wiring receptacles, wiring breakers and panels, running wire for devices, and reading and scaling blueprints. A strong work ethic and responsibility to perform work well are essential.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
- Connect circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Construct and fabricate parts using hand tools and specifications.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Plan layouts, install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures such as motors, generators, switches, circuit breakers, and fuse boxes.
- Inspect wiring and fixtures for conformance to company specifications or local electrical codes.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards; defects and the need for adjustment or repair to ensure compliance with electrical codes.
- Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment such as motors.
- Place conduit (pipes or tubing) for tool installation of chip manufacturing equipment.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
- Follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial and industrial electrical applications.
- Journeyman Electrician with 7-10 years of experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and knowledge of electrical applications.
- Knowledge of methods and techniques of performing skilled electrical work.
- Experience in commercial or industrial settings.
- 3-5 years of foreman or management experience.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Skilled in interpersonal communication and establishing effective working relationships.
- Experience in construction management, pulling wire, and conduit bending.

Work Environment
The work environment includes hours from 7 AM to 3 PM, with potential work until 5 PM. Candidates must be willing to travel up to 2.5 hours away for work, with potential travel work once or twice a year. The role involves working in outdoor construction environments, which may range from indoor to outdoor settings and require working in both cold and wet conditions, or hot environments. The team consists of 25 total members.

This is a Permanent position based out of Harrisonville, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
2- weeks paid vacation to start this is negotiable
