Job Title: Material Handler - First Shift
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
Job Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and handling of materials and products within the warehouse. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments accurately
* Move materials within the facility by hand
* Stage, sort, and organize products in designated areas
* Assist with inventory control and cycle counts
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
* Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
* Perform general warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Reliable attendance and punctuality
* Forklift certification is a plus but not required
