Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans Provide counseling and support services to students facing academic or behavioral challenges Assist with crisis intervention and behavior management strategies Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to guide educational planning and decision-making Qualifications: Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid School Psychologist certification or license applicable to New York State Experience working with K-12 student populations Strong understanding of assessment tools and evidence-based intervention strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Location: Troy, New York This contract position provides a rewarding chance to impact student success and well-being over the course of the school year.
