We are currently hiring a Security Officer for a busy facility in Hauppauge, NY. This is a great opportunity for a dependable and detail-oriented professional seeking a steady weekday schedule.
Position Details:
* Location: Hauppauge, NY
* Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
* Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
Responsibilities:
* Perform routine patrols to ensure the safety and security of the premises
* Monitor access control and verify identification as required
* Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies in a calm and professional manner
* Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation
* Provide exceptional customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors
Requirements:
* Valid New York State Security Guard License (preferred)
* Minimum 18 years of age
* High school diploma or GED required
* Strong communication and observation skills
* Ability to stand, walk, and conduct patrols for extended periods
* Prior security or related experience preferred
